UNM-GALLUP WELCOMES NEW SENIOR STUDENT SPECIALIST FOR THE NURSING PROGRAM

March 22, 2021 - UNM-Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ welcomes Kendall Rae Ramirez, who recently joined the university as the new Senior Student Specialist for the Nursing program.

She holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from Humboldt State University and a New Mexico Special Education Teaching License from WNMU-Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ with secondary endorsements in Math, Science, and TESOL.

Kendall taught with Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ-McKinley County Schools and the Adolescent Care Unit at Tse’hootsooi’ Medical Center in Fort Defiance, Arizona. She will begin a Master’s program in Fall 2021 with UNM’s Native American Studies department.

Kendall has raised her family in the local community and is dedicated to UNM-Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµâ€™s vision of becoming “a nationally recognized leader in community focused, regionally specific and culturally vibrant education.â€
